3^rd ILL-ESRF International Student Summer Programme on X-Ray and Neutron Science for undergraduate students – 29^th August- 23^th September 2016 - Grenoble, France

The ILL and the ESRF are organizing a joint summer programme for undergraduate students from any member country of the ILL or ESRF from August 29 to September 23, 2016 to be held at the European Photon & Neutron Science Campus (EPN) in Grenoble, France.

It will consist of:

•   courses on the fundamentals and the various applications of neutrons and x-rays

•   a hands-on experimental or theoretical project embedded in one of the institute's research groups during 4 weeks

And it is:

•   designed for undergraduate students (after 2

^nd

 year, and before master degree) and does not require particular prior experience with neutron and synchrotron techniques

•   free of charge, and all participants receive a financial support.
