Il progetto sviluppato ha avuto quali obiettivi principali lo studio dei fenomeni di formazione dei contaminanti metallici nei fluidi tecnici (oli isolanti) impiegati in trasformatori di potenza delle grandi reti elettriche per la generazione (15-400 kV), trasmissione (220-1200 kV) e distribuzione (<130 kV) dell’elettricità.
